It goes without saying that this years holiday season was a little different; however, Joys of Toys was a success! With help from our staff, board members, community donors, and our consumers we were able to make this holiday season a memorable one for the children we serve.. This year we were able to give gifts to over 20 children, and this is largely due to our community donors.
Special Thanks to:

Although Covid-19 changed how we did our event this year, we were able to partner with Cooper University Hospital to donate not only school supplies and hand sanitizer, but also masks (donated by Cooper). We may not have been able to have the event in person, but our curbside pickup was a success! This year we were able to demonstrate that nothing can stop us from supporting our community.

We at CCILC would like to thank the Camden Neighborhood Center and the NJ Tree Foundation. This year L.E.E.P was able to facilitate three event 2 of which would not have been possible with out the Neighborhood Center welcoming us and allowing us to bring the program to their kids and without Meredith Brown from the NJ Tree Foundation coming out to deliver 2 amazing presentations on green infrastructure.
We are also grateful for the consumers and their families who joined us for our final event at the Camden Adventure Aquarium. We had a blast and hope to do more events in the future. We are already looking forward to next summer! |

This holiday season we have been working to make an impact in our community. One of our success stories was being able to provide a consumer with his very first Christmas presents. He had never had an opportunity to open/receive gifts and here at CCILC we provided him with gifts and the opportunity to open them.
