Housing Appointments:

What do you need to schedule an appointment: 
  1. Original Birth Certificate (For everyone living in household)
  2. Social Security Card (For everyone living in household)
  3. Current Photo ID (For all adults & they will have to sign apps)
  4. Proof of Income (Current within the calendar year) Social Security Award letter,  GA or TA award letter.
No apps will be made without all of these documents

  • We are not a housing facility​
  • CCILC has no decision on housing matters at all and cannot influence housing waiting lists.
We help our consumers find housing based on their income guidelines through information and referral services

Emergency Rental Assistance Program ​

Do you need help paying your rent or arrears due to the pandemic? Online applications for Phase II of the #COVID19 Emergency Rental Assistance Program for New Jersey residents is now open.

​Applications can be submitted ONLINE at: njdca.onlinepha.com

Starting at 9 a.m. on Monday, March 22, the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs Emergency Rental Assistance Program Phase II (CVERAP Phase II) will begin accepting applications for back fees and temporary financial support for low-to-moderate-income renter households.

Landlords may also apply on behalf of their tenants. Awards will be provided through a lottery system comprising eligible applicants.

Eviction Moratorium Information + Question Form for Renter

The eviction moratorium will last until two months after Governor Murphy declares an end to the COVID-19 health crisis, unless the Governor issues another Executive Order to end it sooner.

Eviction Protection: During the public health emergency, individuals cannot be removed as the result of an eviction or foreclosure proceeding. Learn more here.
