WELCOME!

Camden City Independent Living Center (CCILC) is a non-profit organization.  CCILC exists to empower individuals with disabilities to take charge of their lives, participate fully in all educational, vocational, governmental, and social activities in our society and their community.  CCILC will advocate for them and provide programs and services necessary in developing their abilities to lead purposeful lives.

CCILC Honors

​Today on February 22th, we honor ​​Dwight Muhammad Qawi,  an American former professional boxer who competed from 1978 to 1998.  Dwight Muhammed Qawi changed his name to Dwight Braxton after winning the WBC Light Heavyweight Title in December of 1981. He grew up on the streets in Camden, NJ. He overcame his addiction to drugs and alcohol in 1998. To learn more about Mr. Braxton and how he paved the way for all those that  followed please visit ccilchonors.

Covid Updates

Covid-19 Vaccination Information

New Jersey will roll out COVID-19 vaccines in a phased approach to all adults who live, work, or are being educated in the State. Within six months, New Jersey aims to vaccinate 70 percent of the adult population.
