Camden City Independent Living Center (CCILC) is a non-profit organization. CCILC exists to empower individuals with disabilities to take charge of their lives, participate fully in all educational, vocational, governmental, and social activities in our society and their community. CCILC will advocate for them and provide programs and services necessary in developing their abilities to lead purposeful lives.

Assist consumers and their families in locating and accessing resources which will be helpful to them in developing their abilities for independent living. Counseling/Peer Support CCILC facilitates support groups for our consumers with disabilities. Peer Support is an opportunity for individuals with disabilities to learn from others who have had similar experiences. We also offer one-on-one support to consumers to address barriers to their independence. Advocacy Advocating for the rights of individuals, and assisting in removing barriers to full inclusion. Transition/ WIOA PRE-ETS Provide support and guidance to students transitioning from school to adult life with a strong emphasis on employment. Daily Living Skills Services designed to assist consumers in gaining skills to live independently in their community. ● Self Care/Personal Hygiene ● Money Handling ● Mobility/Transportation ● Shopping ● Medical Resources ● Housing ● Leisure/Social Activities ● Assistive Technology |
